OUR HISTORY

Everything started on June 18^th, 2021 when the FurryBellyGifs Telegram Channel was created.In the very start, the channel and its content was private, as a part of a personal project. Only people who were very closely related to Mark Komodo were given an invite link to the channel.The purpose of the channel was to archive and compile content made by animators and fursuiters, the content was easily shareable with friends because they are all in “GIF” format.Later, Mark Komodo decided to make the channel accessible to the public, and the channel quickly started to gain attention… A TON OF IT!!!The sudden growth was unplanned, but we managed to go with the flow. We adapted everything accordingly, making the community more inviting and professional.As time went by, we expanded the content that we wanted to share around:
On December 05^th, 2022 – FurryBurps was created;
On February 03^rd, 2023 – FurryBellyIRL was created;
On May 08^th, 2023 – FurryBellyNSFW was created;
On September 01st, 2023 – FurryBellyVR group ownership was donated from GreyfusGymir to Mark Komodo.We have expanded our reach to other social media platforms as time went by! We are active on Bluesky, Discord, VRChat, Barq & TikTok!

As much as I am "technically" considered the "owner" of the community... I personally **do not take "PRIDE" to have built the community, but rather I feel GRATEFUL!......grateful because with this project, we managed to create one of the most welcoming places I could ever imagine to exist. All of us can have fun, share our work, creations, and love each other… This community made us remember what the main intent of the furry fandom was for all of these decades… to bring people together!I may not have anything that makes me “stand out” in the furry fandom… I do not do artworks, I am not a fursuiter, I am not a live streamer, I do not create my own content, I don’t have an appealing body… But if I am able to help my friends… THAT is what matters the most for me.

WHAT WE DO

Our community mainly serves as a public archive for content made by furry artists, animators, fursuiters and content creators who focus around body positivity, “bears”, and similar. Our work is completely voluntary, done by the help of everyone who views social media trying to find new content so that we can share along. We compile the content in separate categories to better suffice the interests of every individual, while always crediting every single post that we share, boosting the content of all of those content creators of the furry fandom.

We also accept any donations from those who enjoy and would like us to continue our work of compiling & boosting content.It’s a win-win situation!

They cover social interactions and any content you share within our community.If you think you can resolve a problem you’re having with someone’s behavior without getting the staff involved, we encourage you to. This obviously saves us work, which we appreciate — but, more importantly, early interventions from someone’s friends and acquaintances are way more likely to actually fix someone’s bad behavior than letting it fester until we need to step in. With that said, please get in touch with us if you think it’s something you can’t deal with.If you come across a user, message, or service that appears to break these guidelines, please report it to staff members.Unfortunately, we can’t make all “bad behavior” a punishable offense. As much as we would like everything to be smooth in our community, sometimes people aren’t going to get along. Sometimes people are going to fight. WHY WE HAVE GUIDELINES

These guidelines define how you should behave and what you expect from other individuals to behave. These rules apply to all platforms where the Furry Belly Hub Community engages, including Telegram, Discord, Bluesky, VRChat and Barq. They cover social interactions and any content you share within our community.If you think you can resolve a problem you’re having with someone’s behavior without getting the staff involved, we encourage you to. This obviously saves us work, which we appreciate — but, more importantly, early interventions from someone’s friends and acquaintances are way more likely to actually fix someone’s bad behavior than letting it fester until we need to step in. With that said, please get in touch with us if you think it’s something you can’t deal with.If you come across a user, message, or service that appears to break these guidelines, please report it to staff members.Unfortunately, we can’t make all “bad behavior” a punishable offense. As much as we would like everything to be smooth in our community, sometimes people aren’t going to get along. Sometimes people are going to fight. It’s what happens when we have communities as big and diverse as ours. Policing such conflicts would be nearly impossible and so we’ve deliberately chosen not to do that. Instead, we focus on specific harmful behavior that is tangible.Regardless if a rule isn’t listed on the community guidelines, the staff team will always have the final verdict, which means that the staff team has the right to remove any content published by a member that is too inappropriate for the community, with no rights of disputation.Failure to abide by the community guidelines may result in your account being kicked and/or banned from our community, indefinitely.We reserve the right to evaluate each incident on a case by case basis, especially based on the histories of the users involved; the action we take may be more lenient or more severe than those listed under each category.
